Scientific paper

Precise rotational velocities have been determined for 12 lithium-rich
giant stars using the CORAVEL spectrometer. Except for HD 9746, the
lithium-rich giants show normal rotational velocities with respect to
typical lithium-normal giants of the same spectral type. Further, we
have found no sign of binarity for the lithium-rich giants.
