A large number of photoelectric observations in one color of the yellow band and in BV were made of RT CrB. The mean light curve shows that there is an outstanding wavelike distortion outside of eclipse. The distortion wave appears to migrate directly toward increasing phase with a period of about 18.5 years and a decreasing amplitude in recent years. A set of preliminary photometric elements was obtained with the Russell-Merrill type of computing program. The preliminary eclipse is in transit, the ratio of radii and orbital inclination are 0.975 and 84.9 deg, respectively, and the absolute radii of the components reveal a detached configuration of two subgiant components.
