A value of the apsidal motion velocity has been obtained: ωobs = 0°.0155 yr-1 from an analysis of all photoelectric observations of the eclipsing binary system V889 Aql. It is shown that the relativistic term provides the main part of the apsidal motion velocity (>75%) in agreement with the results obtained by Gimenez and Scaltriti.
