The kinematics of local young stars has been analyzed using the data from the Hipparcos catalogue. The system of young stars within 1 kpc from the Sun lags behind the galactocentric rotation of the LSR by about 15 km/s and it rotates in the same direction but faster than the Milky Way. To interpret the observed motions, the free expansion of a star cluster, Keplerian rotation around a central body and a model with contraction and expansion were tested. An alternative model using the loop orbit passing through solar vicinity or a more complex model with several interacting bubbles has to be analyzed in the future.
