The current selection cycle within the Space Science Program include three astronomy mission concepts that will be in competition in 1988. These are the GRASP gama-ray mission, the Lyman UV mission, and the Quasat space radio interferometry mission. It is noted that both the GRASP and Lyman projects would be natural follow-ups to previous or still operating missions such as Cos-B and IUE. Quasat is a totaly new mission concept and could be one of the very firt space missions in radio astronomy. The scientific objectives and the basic concepts of three potential missions are outlined.
