The measurements of the temperature fluctuations in the Majdanak
Zeiss-1000 tube show that the ventilation in a "closed"-type telescope
tube leads to a considerable (10 - 15 times) decrease of the temperature
fluctuations in the tube and therefore allows to improve the telescope
seeing.
