The three-dimensional distribution of interplanetary dust and light scattering by small particles was investigated. The dependence of intensity, polarization, and color of zodiacal light on the parameters of model computations is reported. Simple models of the three-dimensional distribution are discussed with respect to observational criteria, useful for interpretation of photopolarimetric measurements of zodiacal light from space probes within and without the ecliptic plane.
