The authors have observed the dwarf nova V101 towards the globular cluster M5 through most of an eruption, and during quiescence. Assuming it to be a member of the cluster, V101 reached MB ≅ +4.3 at maximum and MB ≡ +7.6 at minimum, in good agreement with determinations for field dwarf novae. The outburst rise and fall times and total duration imply a long orbital period (≡11 hr) and possibly an evolved secondary. This hypothesis is consistent with the red continuum of V101 seen in the spectrum of Margon et al. (1981).
