Spectrophotometric observations in Hα, Hβ, [N II] λ6584 - λ6548 Å, [O III] λ5007 - λ4959 Å [S II] λ6731 - λ6717 Å and [O I] of 10 southern planetary nebulae were made. Monochromatic images and isophotal maps in Hα, Hβ, [O II], [O III] and [S II] lines were obtained with a CCD detector. The ratios [O III] λ5007/[O III] λ4959 and [N II] λ6584/[N II] λ6548 have been found constant in agreement with the theory. The authors discuss the case of the central region of IC 418, the ring shape is clearly visible, even in the [O III] line. This planetary nebula can be considered as an inner bright envelope surrounded by an extended diffuse halo.
