We report on the present status of the AURIGA gravitational wave
detector, which entered its second scientific run on May 2005.
Performances and sensitivity are given together with some results on the
data quality. Results on the upper limit on gw emissions at the time of
the Dec 27 2004 giant flare of SGR1806-20 are presented.
