We propose a 30th anniversary observation of the exceptional Type IIn Supernova 1978K in NGC 1313. The once-smooth radio decline has shown much more variability in recent years, reflecting changes in the supernova progenitor's mass-loss rate from tens to thousands of years prior to explosion. No other supernova has been monitored so long in its evolution at radio wavelengths.
