Here we present new data of our Michelson-Morley experiment, that compares the frequency of a continuously rotating optical resonator to a stationary one. We have extended the measurement span to > 1 year, which allows us to state limits on separate parameters of a Lorentz violating extension of the standard model down to few parts in 1016. In addition we give an outlook on an improved setup that will apply crossed cavities implemented in a single block of fused silica. A frequency comparison of these cavities has already achieved a tenfold improvement of laser frequency stability as compared to the previous setup.
