The detection of strong radio emission in the direction of the inner 1-pc core of the galactic nucleus is reported. The structure is bright (brightness temperature greater than or about equal to 10,000,000 K), unresolved (angular diameter less than or about equal to 0.1 sec), and distributed within a few seconds of the brightest infrared and radio emission seen previously.
