The inner, outer, and nuclear rings and pseudorings of early to intermediate Hubble-type spiral galaxies offer the best evidence for the detectability of specific orbit resonances in normal galaxies. Here I briefly summarize my work on the statistical and morphological properties of outer rings and pseudorings, and how these properties relate the rings to the outer Lindblad resonance.
