The evolution characters of post-AGB stars are reviewed. There is a lot of dust in their circumstellar envelopes. There is also a lot of molecules in their circumstellar envelopes, for example CO molecules, OH, H2O, and SiO maser molecules. The evolution characters of post-AGB stars often appear to be constant luminosity, and great increase of their surface temperature.
