We present an analytical approximation of the behavior of the velocity dispersion structure of the energetic particle bursts generated during magnetic field topology reconstruction within the Earth's magnetotail. We show that some critical distance S exists, such that if the distance S between the source and the spacecraft S greater than S(sub c), the burst exhibits only normal velocity dispersion (more energetic particles appear before low energy particles). For S less than S(sub c), both inverse (for higher energies) and normal (for lower energies) parts coexist in the structure. These calculations are compared with the observational data.
