The properties of the globular cluster systems of the Milky Way are
reviewed and compared with the stellar populations of the halo, thick
disk, and bulge. Divisions by [Fe/H] and horizontal branch type yield
samples of clusters with different spatial, kinematic, and age
distributions, which suggest different origins.
