The classification, numbers, physical parameters, energy distributions,
and ring nebulae of Pop. I Wolf-Rayet (WR) stars are reviewed. The
numbers of known WR stars in the Galaxy, in the LMC and in the SMC are
195, 114, and 9, respectively.
