The paper demonstrates that traditional CCRS/CCRF (conventional celestial reference systems/conventional celestial reference frames), e.g., FK5 and available radio source catalogs, which are based on the conceptions of equator and equinox, can be replaced by the DCRS/DCRF (directly defined celestial reference systems/directly defined celestial reference frames) that are only based on the directions of a group of extragalactic objects. In this case, the transformation parameters W0, W, and H between CCRS and DCRS can be used as astronomical constants for geodetic purposes. These parameters can be determined by observations.
