Khrunichev Space Center experience in long-term orbital stations creation was a base for participation in the International Space Station Program. Khrunichev Space Center participated in Station structure and layout development, as well as in proposals generating for the ISS first element configuration. At each phase of implementation of the ISS first element creation program Khrunichev Space Center cooperated with international companies and agencies, such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing and NASA. Khrunichev Space Center made a significant contribution into development, manufacture and launch of the ISS Russian Segment key element - "Zvezda" Service Module. ISS first elements exploitation and cooperation with partners during first three years of the ISS life had a number of special features. American and Russian technical requirements and their verification can be analyzed if we take the FGB "Zarya" module as an example. Realization of the ISS Program had some novelties at development, manufacture, requirements verification and exploitation stages in comparison with previous Russian programs of long-term manned orbital stations. Today the ISS Program has some problems and Khrunichev Space Center propose interesting options to overcome.
