We present preliminary analysis of the first far-ultraviolet observation of the magnetic cataclysmic variable PQ Geminorum (RE 0751+14). The mean spectrum of PQ Gem obtained by the ORFEUS telescope shows strong, broad emission lines of C III, He II, and O VI and possibly other weak lines within a structured continuum. The flat, overall continuum flux distribution observed indicates the presence of a hot, extended accretion region in PQ Gem. Time-series analysis of the spectra reveals that the emission lines are highly variable on short timescales.
