In this present work, LnCl3-Glucose-Pyridine complexes (Ln=Sm, Eu, Er)
have been synthesized and characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared
Spectra. The results demonstrate that glucose and pyridine were
coordinated to lanthanide ions successfully. In addition, the formula of
the complex [Sm(Glu)(Py)Cl3] has been confirmed by elemental analysis.
