Hydrogen-broadening of a large number of methane lines in the ν4 band has been measured at room temperature and 200K (determined from the rotational temperature). The measurements were obtained using the KPNO McMath FTS with spectral resolution of 0.005 cm-1 and a signal-to-noise ratio of 100 or more. Hydrogen pressures between 250 and 600 torr and methane pressures up to 2 torr were utilised. The spectra were analyzed using a parametrised least-squares fitting procedure.
