Moon: Orbit

Scientific paper

For the last several months comments have been made about the Moon's
unusually high, and low, elevations in the sky during each lunation.
Together with this, extremes of moonrise and moonset azimuths may have
been noticed. This phenomenon, known by some as a "Lunar Standstill",
occurs every 19 or so years.
