International research intended to construct new space infrastructure to expand human activity beyond the earth is discussed. The construction of the space infrastructure is aimed at acquiring a self-sustained habitation outside the earth. It is concluded that the organization and coordination of the basic researches in each country should be the most urgent step for international cooperation.
