Investigations of global redshift quantization done in 1992 indicated that periodicities near 72 km s(-1) were enhanced in redshift samples transformed to the Cosmic Background Radiation rest frame. The transformation components which maximized the periodicity, in the galactic coordinate system, were close to (theta , pi , z) = (-243, -31,275) km s(-1) . This matches the COBE CBR dipole vertex at the 1-sigma level. Since 1992, we have developed a model which predicts precise periods for both redshift periodicities and redshift variability patterns. The periodicity model and examples of periodicities and variability are discussed in a separate poster paper. Some of the strongest periodicities have now been examined to determine the optimum rest frame transformations and verify the agreement with the COBE dipole vertex. One of these periodicities is at 18 km s(-1) , the one-fourth submultiple of 72. Searches over a large volume of velocity space centered at the CBR transformation confirm that the optimum transformations are in very close agreement with those of the original study and with the COBE CBR dipole vertex. The observed spectral power peaks have a very low likelihood of occurring accidentally. The global redshift periodicities appear to be optimized by first applying a relativistic conversion to the galactic center using a vector (232.4, -36.6,0.9) km s(-1) , followed by a non-relativistic transformation to the CBR rest frame.
