A novel technique for measuring the interstellar magnetic field is described. The technique depends on the time modulation of pulsar pulses, which is due to the combined effect of Faraday rotation of the polarization plane and dispersive signal time delay in the interstellar medium. Measurement of the modulation period directly yields the mean value of the magnetic field in the direction of the pulsars. Observations of eight pulsars were performed, and mean magnetic-field values were obtained.
