Discrete wavelet transformation has been used to investigate the dependence of two-point angular correlation function on the richness and scales with samples sorted out from the catalog of 1.2 Jy IRAS galaxies redshift survey. Clumps with certain scale and richness are identified from two-dimensional wavelet analysis. By comparison of correlation functions of clumps with different richness and scales, the authors find that the two-point angular correlation functions of the clumps are independent of the richness for given scale. However, it shows a dependence on the scale of clumps. This result indicates that the correlation strength is dependent on the total mass of clumps.
