A uniform catalog of galaxies of 386 sq deg, containing 150,000 galaxies based on plates obtained for the second epoch Palomar Observatory Sky Survey (POSS-II), has been completed. This catalog is divided into two well-separated regions of sky. The two-point angular correlation function has been measured for each field, and excellent agreement is found on small angular scales, but disagreement on scales larger than 0.5 deg. This disagreement is larger than can be accounted for by known systematic errors and so indicates a real difference in the large-scale structure of the two samples. Only one of the two fields is consistent with the result from the APM survey.
