The first results are presented of a photometric study of the solar-type, G2/V-Pleiades member stars HII-314, HII-996, and HII-1207. The stars are optically variable on a short and long term time scale with amplitudes of several percent, indicating as well rotational modulation by photospheric subluminous areas and the formation and decay of spot and chromospheric activity regions. The activity cycle of HII-314, which shows these effects clearly, is about 2.5 yr, while HII-996 shows mainly rotational modulation with a period of 1.26 day. All three stars show color variations which are correlated with the flux variations in the sense that the star becomes redder when its brightness is low. The amplitudes of the rotational variations in HII-314 and HII-996 are larger than in solar type field stars.
