We propose a 35 ks XMM-Newton observation during the outburst of a very-faint X-ray transient. These peculiar sources are underluminous by orders of magnitudes compared to the well known bright transients. Some of them have been identify as neutron stars accretor, but the nature of the vast majority remains unclear. This observation will allow to improve our understanding of the nature of very faint X-ray transients, the cause of their underluminous outburst as well as to study in detail the spectral and timing properties.
