Disturbed conditions of the terrestrial atmosphere, ionosphere, and magnetosphere, and their dependence on solar activity are studied. Report covers polarization observations of solar active regions and total electron content studies with emphasis on ionospheric trough effects. Extensive observations of left and right circular polarized emission at 7.875GHz from solar active regions were made.
