Optical performance of the Tillinghast 60-inch reflector has been evaluated in several important areas. We find the image quality satisfactory and have located the optimum Cassegrain and coudé focal planes. Periodic error in the telescope drive and mechanical and optical effects of tube flexure are satisfactorily small. An appendix lists many mechanical and optical properties of the telescope.
