Quantum Cosmology, Exact Solutions
Scientific paper
A FRW type universe is studied with a self interacting scalar field coupled to a metric undergoing a continuous signature transition from Euclidean to Lorentzian. We obtain dual signature changing classical solutions corresponding to a same quantum cosmology. By assuming that the solutions of quantum Wheeler-DeWitt equation are more primitive than the solutions of classical Einstein equations, we arrange for specific jumps of dual classical solutions passing through the signature changing hypersurface, in consistency with this quantum cosmology. We interpret these quantum cosmologically allowed jumps between the dual signature changing classical solutions as a classical limit with inflation-like behavior.
