The stability of the horizontal axis of the DCMT is investigated. Using the self-calibration system of the DCMT, the error of the horizontal axis has been measured. With the visual micrometer the errors of the readings have been estimated to be 0″10 - 0″15. The observation data have been reduced, and the systematic error and the repeatability for the horizontal axis are estimated. The results of the test observation indicate that the stability of the horizontal axis of this instrument is fairly good.
