The variable linear polarization of the intrinsic radiation emitted by
an oblique, precessing accretion disk is calculated for the case of pure
electron scattering in an optically thick disk atmosphere. The
contribution of the intrinsic disk radiation to the variable linear
polarization observed in the peculiar object SS 433 is discussed.
