The results of an optical spectroscopic survey of 28 southern radio galaxies including redshifts and descriptions of their spectra are presented. One of these objects is a quasar, while five of the remainder involve fields where more than one galaxy has been observed because of the complex radio structure or uncertain identification. A Fleurs synthesis telescope map at 21 cm of PKS 0114-47 and a VLA map at 6 cm of PKS 0843-33 are also presented and discussed.
