Hubble Space Telescope observations of Mars in Cycle 6 will commence in September, 1996 at Ls (areocentric longitude of the sun) of 11 degrees and will continue through Cycle 6 until June 28, 1997 at Ls = 135. Sequences of Planetary Camera images will be obtained at seasonal dates identical to our observations in prior cycles in order to investigate interannual variability in clouds and surface features. FOS observations, which have been used to quantitatively determine ozone concentrations in the Martian atmosphere, will be made prior to the removal of the FOS instrument in February, 1997. Following the 1997 opposition in March, visits will be concentrated on the central meridian of Ares Valles anticipating the landing of Pathfinder on July 4, 1997. Images obtained in our first two visits in 1996 will be presented and discussed. Support for this work provided by NASA through grant number 6741 from Space Telescope Science Institute.
