Scientific paper

The chemical composition of 17 classic Cepheids is investigated by the model-atmosphere method. Mutual correlations of relative contents were found for Na-Mg, Na-Ca, and Ti(+)-Ca, as well as for the X/Fe abundances. It is shown that the detected abundance curve effects reflect the imperfection of the present-day level of the theoretical analysis of the spectra of pulsating giants.
