Cylindrical and spherical models of force-free magnetic field
configurations (known as magnetic clouds) are analyzed and compared with
events observed by Helios I and Prognoz 10. It is shown that more
complicated spherical solutions are able to fit observed data and
describe the topology of magnetic clouds.
