Extinctions are derived from Br-alpha and Br-gamma flux measurements of compact sources in the galactic center. These Brackett line observations establish the extinctions to be similar to, or smaller than, the extinctions of stellar sources, though it is noted that IRS 6 shows approximately twice as much extinction as the other compact sources. While the present data are deemed insufficient, no obvious correlation emerges with the pattern seen on larger spatial scales.
