A search for water vapor masers was made in the vicinity of confirmed Herbig-Haro (HH) objects. An area of at least 11 square arcmin around each HH object was sampled, for a total of 600 spectra in 20 regions covering 900 square arcmin. The center positions of all the regions searched and the corresponding areas are shown along with the center velocity of the window for each case and the parameters of the four detected H2O masers. The time-averaged isotropic luminosity of the masers was found to be low, about 10 to the -7th solar luminosities, suggesting that they are related to forming stars of medium luminosity. Substantially fewer H2O masers (by a factor of about two) were found near confirmed HH objects than near GGD objects. This may be due to selection effects and/or the lower luminosity of HH-related H2O masers as compared to GGD-related masers, or it may be due to a genuine physical difference.
