Radial Velocities: Open Clusters, Radial Velocities: Methods Of Observation

Scientific paper

This paper reviews the various programmes already completed or underway at different observatories, according to the different techniques used for observing radial velocities in open clusters. It then presents a short history of the available data for stars in the nearby open clusters which have been so far the most observed objects. After a brief presentation of the existing RV compilations, it surveys the results essentially based on radial velocities.
