During an investigation of stars classified M by us from our GRISM
plates the star DK 54 in Demers and Kunkel's list of red giants in the
Fornax dwarf galaxy was found to be of type S. With an adopted distance
modulus of m - M = 21.0 its absolute visual magnitude is about
MV = - 2.5.
