Photoelectric UBV observations carried out during four observing seasons
from 1986 to 1989 confirm the optical variability of the M 33 nucleus
detected earlier. In addition to irregular fluctuations, variations from
year to year are found. New arguments in favor of the resemblance of the
M 33 nucleus to Seyfert galaxy nuclei are given.
