Observations of nucleus in Seyfert 1 galaxy NGC 7469 during September 1989 - January 1990 have shown that the broad component of the H-beta emission had practically faded from the end of September to the beginning of October 1989. In December it was seen again. Spectral variations were accompanied by a strong decrease of the brightness in U-band and increase of the color index (U - B) up to - 0.04 m, which is close to color of normal spiral galaxies.
