We performed high-angular resolution imaging polarimetry of the Chamaeleon Infrared Nebula (Cha IRN) in the J and H bands. In this Letter, we present a polarization map in the H band. These new measurements, together with previous polarization data, are interpreted using a Monte Carlo model for radiative transfer. As a result of these calculations, we derive properties of the circumstellar dust configuration of Cha IRN.
