We present calculations of the wavelength and angular dependence of intensity and circular polarization of cyclotron emission from axisymmetric accretion shocks in a uniform magnetic field using three-dimensional post-shock structures that we compute in a self-consistent manner including bremsstrahlung and cyclotron cooling. For the assumed fixed mass (0.5 Msun) and magnetic field (20 MG) the post-shock structure is determined by the variation of the specific accretion rate away from the axis of symmetry. We discuss three models corresponding to different accretion-rate variation with post-shock structures that range from being mainly bremsstrahlung-cooling dominated to cyclotron-cooling dominated. The angular dependence of intensity and circular polarization is found to be a sensitive function of the post-shock structure, particularly at marginally optically thick and optically thick frequencies. We use our results to discuss, in general terms, multiwaveband phase-dependent intensity and circular polarization observations of AM Herculis-type systems and present the first model for V834 Cen (E1405 - 451) which fits phase-dependent observations in V-, J- and H-bands simultaneously.
