A statistical analysis of the modulation depth in five type IV bursts confirms a model of millisecond pulsations of radio emission due to a pulsation regime of the whistler spectrum. The modulation depth distribution (Delta I)/I versus the period p grows linearly (with different slope) up to the maximum at (Delta I)/I = 0.5-0.6 for p = 1/nu(ei). The same dependence (Delta I)/I (p) for spikes observed in the same phenomena also tends to confirm this model.
