Scientific paper

Combining radio astronomy data with meteorological data, the authors have made a numerical computation of the total atmospheric attenuation in the millimeter wave band with the atmospheric stratification model and the inversion method. The condensed water content density in clouds and the correction for atmospheric total attenuation of the radiation from radio sources are obtained. The results are better than those of the uniform and two-layer atmospheric models and that of the method of tracking the Sun.
